Sermons

“They read from the Book, from the Law of God, making it clear and giving the meaning so that the people understood what was being read”.

Nehemiah 8:8

Our preaching program is committed to follow this example, gradually working through different sections of the bible, reflecting on both Old and New Testaments, and looking over time at the gospels, epistles, the law, the prophets, wisdom, and history. Our goal is to make the bible clear and give the meaning so that the people understand.

The preaching team at St Stephen’s includes both men and women, and ordained and lay members of the congregation. Our Sunday sermons are recorded and uploaded so that members can catch up on the bible teaching if they are not able to join us. Due to the size of audio files and our limited website capacity, only the most recent sermons are available online.
